Cadence — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Cadence. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cadence. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post (song picks, notes, profile details). You grant Cadence a license to display that content within the app to your followers as part of operating the service. You are responsible for the content you post and must have the right to share it.

Acceptable use — zero tolerance for objectionable content

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post content or behave in ways that are unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable, and not to impersonate others, spam, or infringe anyone's rights.

We provide tools to report and block other users. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them — including removing content and ejecting users who violate these Terms — within 24 hours of a report. You can report content or a user from their profile in the app, and block any user to stop all interaction with them.

Enforcement

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

Spotify

Cadence uses the Spotify platform but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify. Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB, and your use of Spotify features is also subject to Spotify's own terms.

By using Cadence, you additionally acknowledge and agree that:

• Spotify makes no warranties or representations to you regarding the Spotify platform, service, or content, and all implied warranties with respect to them — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement — are disclaimed.
• You will not modify or create derivative works based on the Spotify platform, service, or content.
• You will not decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to reduce the Spotify platform, service, or content to source code or any other human-perceivable form, except to the full extent permitted by law.
• Cadence — not Spotify — is responsible for this app, and Spotify has no liability to you in connection with it.
• Spotify is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and is entitled to directly enforce them against you.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Cadence is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using Cadence and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
